🌱 Volunteer Day at the Farm 🌱

Join us anytime between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM for our Wednesday Volunteer Day.

This is a relaxed, low-pressure afternoon where you can drop by whenever works for you and stay as long as you would like. Whether you can help for one hour or stay for the full four hours, we would love to have you. Every bit of help makes a difference.

Wednesday Volunteer Day 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Arrive anytime during the volunteer window and stay for as long as your schedule allows.

No previous farm, gardening, animal-care, or volunteer experience is required.

We will be working on a variety of farm projects, caring for the animals, and getting things done around the farm. Feel free to take breaks, grab a drink, chat with others, and enjoy the experience.

Bring a positive attitude, clothes you do not mind getting a little dirty, closed-toe footwear, and be ready to have some fun while helping out.

We appreciate all the support and look forward to seeing you at the farm.

Saturday Petting Farm Event

Volunteers may also apply to help during the Saturday Petting Farm Event.

During event days, volunteers help keep animals safe and calm, support guests, assist with work tables, help with concessions, and share basic information about the farm and animals.

Our Wednesday volunteer days may also include hands-on homesteading activities such as bread making, cheese making, food preservation, herbal projects, and other traditional farmstead skills.

If you have experience in any of these areas or would like to learn and help out, we would love to hear from you.

Please note: We receive a high volume of applications and are currently limited in management capacity. We will try to accommodate as many volunteers as possible; however, volunteer spaces may not be available every week for every applicant.

Volunteer tasks may involve outdoor work, light lifting, uneven ground, changing weather, soil, plants, animals, tools, and event setup areas. Volunteers should only accept tasks they are comfortable completing safely.

Final volunteer approval, schedule, role assignment, and task suitability are managed by Findlay Creek Farmstead.
